Neo is a microscope that is an optical instrument used to enlarge images of specimens, preparations, and cultures for pathology evaluations. Specifically, Neo is a fluorescence microscope, which permits examination of specimens stained with fluorochromes that fluoresce under ultraviolet and visible wavelengths of light.
